Growth expectations in the sector conveyor

Growth expectations to 2020 in conveyor slightly higher than in machinery industry

The sector conveyor in the German machinery industry developed above average during the last years thus coining the sector's growth expectations to 2020.

Update June 11th, 2018 - Production in conveyor could grow by 3% and sales by 5% more strongly than those in machinery industry during the years from 2014 to 2017 as the industry report conveyor indicates.

Growth expectations are related to machine production. They lie with 6.5% p.a. to 2020 above of those in machinery industry with 5.5% p.a.

As in machinery industry almost half of the machine-builders in conveyor (44%) expect no growth to 2020. Unless in machinery industry each tenth manufacturer of conveyor (11%) is seeing a setback of production to 2020.
