Industrial production of the MIST countries partly dynamically, partly sluggishly growing
March 22nd, 2016 - With the search for worldwide above average growth rates of the industrial production the countries Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea and Turkey have attracted special attention. One can briefly address these countries under the abbreviation MIST.
In fact, these countries showed a dynamic growth of industrial production even after the world economic crisis 2008/2009. So they set apart from Brazil, Russia and India, which did not lose the growth of their industrial production but its dynamics during and after the crisis.
Indonesia and Turkey growing dynamically, South Korea and Mexico sluggishly after world economic crisis
During the period between 2010 and 2015, industrial production in Indonesia grew dynamically yearly by 5%, in Turkey by 4.5%.
In contrast during the same period industrial production in South Korea grew yearly by 1.5% and in Mexico by 1.8%.
